Divorce Mediation Certificate Program
Training Mediators Nationwide Since 2010
Training for Professionals: The Divorce Mediation Certificate Program will teach you everything you need to know to begin work as a Divorce Mediator immediately upon Certification. More than just the basics of divorce mediation, this comprehensive, post graduate level program will teach you everything about handling a divorce mediation case from the time your clients call to schedule an appointment to the time they leave your office with a complete agreement on all of the terms of their divorce.

Linear, step-by-step instruction from top tier faculty, and all of the tools you will need to be an effective mediator, will leave you feeling confident about helping divorcing spouses resolve conflict and end their marriage in a positive, healthy manner, avoiding the acrimony that accompanies divorce court proceedings.
Training for Spouses: We offer a self-paced on-demand training program for spouses who are on the path to divorce. This program is designed to take the fear and hostility and expense out of the divorce process, so that spouses can focus on making their best decisions on how to parent and raise their children, and divide their assets and liabilities in a manner that each finds fair and equitable, for a tiny fraction of what it typically costs when using the process of divorce litigation.
The program provides a step-by-step process and tools that are easy to understand, which takes the mystery out of the process of divorce, allowing spouses to reach agreement on all of the issues that must be addressed when ending a marriage relationship.
Training for Graduate Schools and Professional Organizations: We partner with organizations to bring quality mediation programs to psychology and social work graduate schools, legal organizations and professional groups seeking membership training. The Divorce Mediation Certificate Program may be presented as a continuing education program, our One-day Introduction to Divorce Mediation Program may be offered to professionals who work with divorcing spouses in a counselling capacity to better assist clientele in what they nee to do in order to have an uncontested divorce, and we are able to customized shorter training events for groups that are seeking new and engaging training opportunities to add to memberships. Let's schedule a meeting to discuss how we can bring Divorce Mediation Training to your Graduate School or Professional Organization!
Mediation Services
Many spouses who are unhappy in their marriage relationships fear the thought of what their lives might be if they divorce. It is common to feel fear about where you will live, what will happen to your children and your relationships with your children, and how you will be able to afford living on your own, among other things. These fears are generally caused by media and gossip about "bad divorces", coupled with the unnecessary complexity and conflict spawned by court litigation and aggressive divorce lawyers. But all of this is easy to avoid.
When spouses divorce, they are required to address a number of issues upon which they need to make decisions or reach agreements. Depending upon your circumstance, there will be somewhere between 20-25 issues that you need to address. We will walk you through each issue, in a session, or series of sessions, each of which lasts one hour.
You and your spouse are free to make your own decisions about the terms by which you will agree to end your marriage relationship. Most divorcing spouses do not need lawyers to fight with their spouses or courts to make decisions for them, which is why mediation has overtaken litigation as the preferred way to obtain a divorce.
We don't hear much about mediated and amicably resolved divorce cases because, frankly, these cases are not exciting to talk about. Nobody wants to hear about easily resolved, peaceful, what we might call "good divorces". Those divorce stories are boring to talk about. Yet you should know that good divorce experiences certainly exist and make up the majority of cases.

If you'd like our assistance in working out all of the issues you need to address in order to have an uncontested divorce, we are happy to help! You can schedule an initial meeting by clicking the link below. We will spend a bit of time during the first session explaining the process in more detail, to be sure that you are ready to use the mediation process to put your divorce agreement together. If after this, you do not feel that mediation is right for you, we will refund your session fee, no questions asked.
Mediation Resources
This book provides readers with information about reaching and writing divorce mediation agreements. It is based upon decades of work the author has performed with novice and experienced mediators, and with spouses seeking to end their marriage relationship.
All divorces are considered contested until all of the issues that courts require agreement on are resolved. Readers will learn what the author has taught thousands of mediators across the United States, which is how to assist divorcing spouses in reaching agreement on all of these issues, and how to put those agreements in writing.
Readers will benefit from the detailed discussion about each of the issues that all divorce courts require be resolved in order to grant an uncontested divorce. Examples of complete, written Memoranda of Understanding are provided for use as templates.
